What started the sky?

  what
started
the sky?
the mother
of us all
when
you know
the mother
you understand
her children
  after
you grasp
the children
go back--
hold onto
the mother
she'll
keep you
safe
even
through
death
close
down
your
mouth
shut
those
flaring
nostrils
then
your strength
goes
on and on
babble
open-mouthed,
busy
yourself
you'll be
in danger
every day
of your life
clear
sight
is
perceiving
the tiny
strength
is
keeping
a firm grip
on softness
Sure,
exercise
your brilliance,
but
go back
to the lights
inside
in this way
you
grow
into
what

goes on,
unchanging
