wage war by making surprise moves |
win the world by leaving it alone |

the more taboos, the poorer the people |
the more wits the darker the chaos |

the more clever the artisans, the worse the inventions |
the more precise the laws, the more thieves |
|||
I do nothing and the people transform themselves |
I hold to stillness, and people line themselves up |
I don't organize-- and people get rich |
naturally. |
