| the way gave birth to the one |
one gave birth to two |
two gave birth to three |
three gave birth to millions |
|
| the millions carry the shade on their backs |
turning their bellies up toward the bright sun |
blending positive and negative, they breathe |
taking life from the blend, balancing |
|
| one may swell by losing |
one may lose by gaining |
|||
| what another teaches, let me borrow |
the
violent do not reach a natural ending |
